Hanna’s personal journey changed drastically in 2004, the year she started her journalism degree and also experienced a life-altering loss at the same time.
Hanna's Voice
On September 3, 2004, Hanna's life took a tragic turn when her first love, Magnus Iversen, a passionate photographer, passed away unexpectedly at Oslo Central Station due to an undiagnosed heart condition.
At 19 years old, she was left with the task of rebuilding her life from scratch, and in the process also forming her new narrative voice with grief as a backdrop.
Out of her experiences, a new, empowered storyteller emerged, finding strength, growth, laughter and purpose through her writing.
